I've written a couple of books worth of spanking stories set in a mythical Welsh village. The stuff about spanking in movies triggered memories of a couple of stories about fantasists who (unlike the rest of the village) don't actually get to do it.

Jean loved it when she saw a suitable image for her collection. And then Jean thought of the obvious! The net! In retrospect it was good that she was given this instant mental ‘freebie’ because the net was very frustrating…
Who’d have thought so many people used spanking as a metaphor for a sporting defeat? Or so many earnest people wanted to discuss real parental responsibility stuff? She’d been worried about the serious warnings of adult material when she’d entered her search then been disappointed by the irrelevance of most sites...

Almost Role Play

We don’t do role-play. That’s the theory and the truth so far. We have vivid imaginations and have both imagined and written all the traditional and not so traditional variations of how and why a man might spank a woman. And thinking about such things excite us both, but somehow role-play is not for us.

Triggers are fun though, and certain triggers (seeing a man dressed as a teacher and swishing a cane![Honestly! Part of role-play at a folk museum] ) are rather exciting. And so a variation on the schoolgirl theme seemed like a fun idea.

As the product of state education my school uniform had been of the casual and less regulation type – skirt of right colour (rather than regulation make and cut), white blouse and school tie. I happen to own a skirt of simple design in grey jersey that is rather similar to the one I wore at school, albeit somewhat longer than the briefer length I favoured in the seventies!

This was an easy look to recreate and the addition of white knickers, bra and suspender belt and black stockings and high-heels gave the outfit a more adult look and appropriately saucy mixed messages that succeeded judging by his double take!

He and I are both good at role-play professionally as we have extensive experience of training - both delivery and receipt. We thought just a lesson, as ourselves without complex scenario would suit us better though, because we’ve never role-played in our erotic lives. He’d just be stricter and I’d just be more challenging and see what would develop – I think that was the theory…

But like the best laid plans of mice, men and feminists it didn’t quite work out… He is too much the good teacher and I am too much the good student. A simple lesson in factors got us both very interested – In the maths and teaching process! He’s an excellent teacher and despite the cane, rulers and hairbrush on the table I got into trying to understand factors and he taught me when to add and multiply!

But although he wasn’t unreasonable and I wasn’t bratty, the lesson had a very erotic undercurrent, and of course I ended up bent over the table with him smoothing my skirt, admiring the view and feel and using rulers, hairbrush and cane over my skirt. And as we both enjoyed the charge, we knew it was merely the opening gambit to the raising of my skirt and the lowering of my knickers for more ‘reinforcement’ of a lesson I’d followed well. Not sure if I've already blogged on this, or just added comments when others have posted - Sometimes the 'senior moments' just join up... so where was I...? Aaah, yesssss....displacement activity...

As others have pondered - Is blogging displacement from 'real' writing? It's good practice and I love the interactivity of the blog, but is it stopping me from getting on with my story writing?

Having posted a piece from one of my unfinished stories I am reminded of how long it is since I've done any of my other writing. It may be that if I wasn't blogging I wouldn't be concentrating on the erotic writing either. I have my paid work, family, home and my relationship and all the other bits of life to concentrate on. And having written a fair amount that remains unpublished - a book of 'straight' short stories, two book's worth of spanking stories and more spanking experience, fact and fiction for my current project - there may be good reason why my stories languish, while I surf and post bits here.

I'm also quite a 'home body' and enjoy being at home alone when not with my Cariad. The soap element of blogging and connecting with others is fun as well.

Some of my started stories are merely aide memoires based on fantasies and passing thoughts that I've started as stories so I won't forget them. I know where they're all going, even if I don't yet know some detail - It's just getting around to writing the things...
So am I practicing displacement as I sit here tapping, or keeping my hand in?

I'm not a natural scribbler - No history of always having a notebook or a trail of juvenilia - I just thought if I wanted to have a go at creative writing I should be able to do so, and found I could. I've always been able to write stuff for work and write letters when in the mood and I love words and language.

Blogging is such a fun thing to do, when in the mood - I described it recently as being columnists in our own little world. You write what you fancy, people read you and sometimes you get feedback - The joys of cyber!

So am I displacing? Who knows? What about you? I am interested in the people who have chosen to stop blogging on grounds of getting on with other stuff, and wonder if those wishing to concentrate on other writing have managed to do so.

it's an extract from one of several short stories I have on the go. Not been in mood to finish one for months, but thought some of you may like a little snippet.
