I'm not stupid enough nor unrealistic enough to expect no infiltration of Blogland by sneaky advertising and I can accept a certain level of hijacking. I use this space for free and some enterprising souls are going to sometimes take advantage. Parasites are often harmless after all.
What p**ses me off is the latest hijacker(s)do so in a way that shuts down my blog!
I've had inappropriate comments added to postings that contain a link to an ad (porn or pharmeceuticals - What does that say about us as a culture?!)The latest is more subtle. A rant about something unrelated, but possibly interesting with an innocent looking link. The link however is an ad (I think one I fell for was a Viagra type thing, when looking to find out about oil wars!)and once open you can't go back to blog. I've removed three in last twenty-four hours. The two with links I didn't open followed formula of first, so I assume same set-up.
