So I am writing creatively again and not just hanging around blogs and message boards - Honest!

I've had weekend of family stuff like so many, but had today to myself and thought I'd try to get something achieved. meant to do something around the house, but beyond changing bed and some laundry I did nothing. I did however send over 150 mailshot emails re work, which had to be done separately, so feel like I've achieved something.I've been intending to do mailshot emails for ages, but had to update website first and I've now done that.

Seeing my Cariad tomorrow and he's promised to help me with the garden. Wonder if we'll have time, energy or inclination for anything else...

I've now completed latest proof reading and updating on my book of straight stories. I shall read through again, then will be ready to send for actual copies.
And then I shall start work at getting my two collections of spanking stories ready for self-publication

'cos threats of spanking are not exactly a deterrent as you know...
I really do want to get on with writing some more spanking stories. I have several in mind and have noted at least their titles, some have a few opening paras written and others almost finished. As said before it is lack of progress with publishing that demotivates me, and of course I still have to work for a living
I shall finish proofing my book of 'straight' stories, get some copies and then try self-publishing my two collections of spanking stories. And hopefully that will motivate me to do some new writing which will be part of Suzee's Bumper Book of Spanking and contains both fact and fiction and hopefully like my blog will titillate and inform. Well, that's the plan...

And why had she spent so long speculating on the fate of the Sultan’s consorts? And imagined herself having her gauzy trousers and undergarments lowered and her bottom whipped by the Sultan? Or imagined herself over his knee like a naughty child but bare-bottomed with her flowing skirts raised or removed for a harsh spanking?
And Suzee would never have admitted to anyone that the thoughts of the Sultan spanking or whipping her unsullied and cosseted bottom always accompanied the busy fingers of herself or the fingers and mouths of her sisters on her most secret flesh as she felt the waves of pleasure undulate through her body...

If I manage to get on with things you may see less of me here, but I shall be keeping an eye on your postings, if posting less frequently.

...my Cariad is away for weekend and I was curious - I've not visited a 'proper' spanking site for a while and I was wondering what they were talking about, so I had a peep

Someone once said that the old hands discuss everything under the sun, while new people discuss spanking! There is some truth in this, as there is only so many times you want to discuss certain things and the heady excitement of being able to discuss spanking with possibly like-minded people becomes less intoxicating. There are, however, kind members of the community who provide info and advice and those with hobby-horses who always join in on certain topics.

Recent topics include:

* Woman due punishment from her female partner for not tidying their home - She has to suggest punishment, but if her suggestion too lenient she'll get something worse! lots of ideas and assertion about nastiness of canes

*Someone wants advice on floggers. It's pointed out they can be purely sensual or as nasty as one wishes - Practice is advised

*There is request for masturbatory fantasies and whether they feature spanking. This has led to discussion on whether spanking is sexual and why do it, if it's not. As usual - some find it sexy at time, some afterwards and some thinking about it. Others get pleasure, which for them is not sexual but sensual or emotional

* A posting about the sexiness of petticoats/half-slips has been going since November, has six pages and has some very nice pics of a woman in French maid's uniform.

Great to be so well-read at the moment - Thank you, Folks! I guess some of you are here for the spanking, but it's hard to turn one's thoughts to a subject and find something worth saying, even when the subject is so close to my heart, so I'll just gently ramble I think...

I have a Domme/sub couple of friends who are happily on their way to a certain dungeon soon. They were recently at a gathering of like-minded souls and she was only Domme with load of Doms who were perfectly polite and accepting but struggling at times for conversation. I was joking that to me Wales seems to be full of sub males. When I was single and looking the Welsh Doms I met in life and cyber had a tendency to come out as switches and closet subs. I reiterated jokey stereotype of 'Welsh Mams'and henpecked men.

All three of us had interesting chat about sting-y thin canes and 'thuddy' heavier ones. Although the heavier ones can be more damaging, it is thin swishy ones that are often harder to take. My cariad's thinnest cane is now several inches shorter and has a taped end! My friends were amused that for me the worst implement is a very cheap and nasty (in both senses!)flyswat from Ikea.

For some reason our local gi-normous Tesco's has a small horseriding section and there was a group of giggling young women looking at riding crops. We have a real one and a silly one with a leather hand - and once again it's the silly one that is the nastier!

I did write a story that featured a riding crop once. I think it's a good story, but I misunderstood the instrument and thought the handle was used - Very dangerous apparently! In my story a woman asks her fiance to punish her so she can be forgiven an infidelity and move on. This is an extract:

So purely in the interest of justice William went away and thought about Celia’s punishment. To his astonishment he found his ‘research’ quite a pleasant distraction from the hurt, humiliation and anger of her affair. He’d always considered himself a ‘new man’ so other than as a schoolboy and just occasionally as a student he’d avoided ‘men’s magazines’ but he remembered the odd ‘spanking pose’… In order to further his research he bought a copy of ‘Festival’ at a motorway stop en route to a conference. He wondered if there’d always been this much about spanking… He could ring up and hear the babysitter being spanked (all the noises) or there was the college girl wife accepting hard punishment or ‘timeless tales of classic corporal punishment.’ William was too sophisticated and too nervous to ring a premium rate number although he found himself surprisingly affected by the lure of “lower your knickers and bend over” and “Sally strapped across her bare behind”.
