...about graphic porn being attached to my blog. I like being here, because people know where to find my blog and I really appreciate the blogfriendships I've built up. But I really don't want to be conduit to this stuff. I've no problem with people looking at such stuff if deliberately choosing to do so, but it just being on my blog really upsets me. Not sure what to do for the best. 
You have every right to complain - your blog isn't "that adult"!
I hope that something can be sorted quickly or BCUK will loose a lot of bloggers!

What a pain. Your blog is not indecent and you have set very careful and tasteful boundaries. I found someone called Rampage very knowledgeable on the blog.uk.front. If you click into the blog news or updates or whatever the tab is called on the first page, you'll see a conversation about tags. Rampage crops up there, useful for making contact with him

I do hope something gets sorted Suzee. I worry about teens and youngsters browsing the latest blogs uploaded and getting an eye full of porn. This was an issue a lot of us raised our major concerns about, at the time we complained in general about the stuff being inflicted on us. Blog did apologise. I can't understand for the life of me, why this continues.
I see there's a slave and bondage add above your blog at the moment. I.E let's these through.

Well according to comments on help blog it is because I have 'adult content' - but I've always had that without these offensive ads. Not sure what's changed, other than market and desire for more advertising revenue perhaps?

Revenue is likely to have bearing on the matter.
However, I want to say here, that I am perturbed about the apparent random manner that this 'adult filtering' has occurred. Not all sexual discussion in a blog is porn, it is a sad mind that marks it so. I for one, would not comment on your site if it was porn. I have no time for it.
I don't see why we, your blog friends, should be subjected to someone else's idea of what your site is, and get landed with disgusting ads that have no bearing on the intelligent and measured approach you have to this particular aspect of people's lives.
There has to be some balance in this. I don't see it with the lumping of your blog into the realms of salacious, sleazey material.

Thank you menhir. My thoughts exactly re ads. My intention of having blog here is to shed light on sexual difference and foster understanding as well as have fun and keep my hand in as a writer. it is a delight to be described as having an intelligent and measured approach. I am glad that I am not seen as part of sleaze.

Decency is a serious issue here, irrespective what Cyzzie thinks. There are decency laws, even in the U.K. Before feet are put in mouths, the laws should be studied. Neither the Piper nor the advertisers have the right to subvert the law of the land in which they offer their services.
If people of their own free will choose to visit porn and hard porn sites they have to be responsible for their own actions and any consequences. When someone imposes these features on you, that is not excusable.

It is of deep concern that we have to be dealing with this issue on blog.
Just imagine Suzee, the worst case scenario. You, me or others, have had the excesses of porn foisted on us (which is what has started to happen) and for some reason our I.P. addresses are singled out for investigation - what then?
Although the reverse of the stated premise of our laws, in these circumstances, you are almost certainly viewed guilty unless proved innocent. Now who would act as witness for the defence? Not Google nor blogUK, is my educated guess.

well I've missed it all.......so hopefully it has been sorted...there have been days when everybody has been afflicted with "unsuitable" sort of ads......I think it is a mistake and then has been sorted.....I know Kiki put in a complaint about it to admin - and Rampage got it sorted.......hugs...xxxxx

sorry if you feel unconvenient about this ad,
but as long as you blog about bdsm, hardcore and this stuff, we cannot place google ads on your page because this violates their T&A ... thats why you'll have to cope with adult ads
or just remove all the ads by going pro ....
normal advertisers dont want to adverise on blogs with sexual content, so our only possibility is to put sexual adds on these blogs - i am sorry for that.
So in your case - sadly - you can either accept those adds cause they pay our servers, salaries and so on ... or to go pro and by that removing all ads for you and your readers.

Do you really think someone who reads my blog actually wants to see anal penetration as well with no warning or choice? I use adult tags because I write about adult subjects. It is me being responsible so people are not shocked by what I write. They expect some sexual content and to learn about spanking. I honestly do not think they expect to be shown anal penetration. If you view comments on Helpblog I think you will find people tend to agree with me.
I really do not like the attitude displayed in this message. I can see that there may be a need for me to accept adult ads to pay your salary etc, but cannot see how you can justify actual pornographic images being shown.

sadly - again - i can't help you with that, as we have very limited influence on what is actually shown inside the ads, if there are a lot of adult topics on a blog (from our point of view bdsm is adult) then adult ads are shown ... which have no limitation to pornography, if you dont want your readers to see this then you can only remove them by not writing about adult topics or by removing ads from your blogs completly by going pro (believe me, this is not something i want to tell you cause it sounds like "pay or go away" and i dont want that)
i will adress those images again with our marketing people but i dont think we're able to prevent them from showing up.

The wording in you blog post is explicit,and google spider takes that as adult content.Ironically,porn is the essential part of adult content,and thats how google ads targets your blog for adult website ads.I don't think BCUK can help it,because it's not them doing it,instead its google.
Best way out is to go Pro and take control of your blog ads.
