Have I ever said that when I write spanking stuff I get fewer comments but more pages read?
Nothing from "Disgusted of Tumbridge Wells" so far...
I've been reading bits and pieces I've written over the years and had a look for spanking stuff in the Nancy Friday fantasy books. I like my own stuff as it reflects my taste (unsurprisingly) but nice to read other stuff. I love it when I hear the word 'spanking' unexpectedly or come across something in a book or on the box unexpectedly.
I saw some stff about Leonard Cohen on BBC 4 last night - His voice is quite mesmerising and something very erotic about that melanchony - wonder if he's a spanker...

I doubt you'd get a clear answer from Leonard on the spanking score, unless he sincerely says and means 'no'
Your reading score rating is interesting. Lots of people who won't put their heads above the parapet to comment, perhaps?
As you know, I don't do BDSM,(is that right...I always think it reads like a certain driving school)so I have no qualms about looking and commenting, if I have something I want to share. That, of course, does not mean others who do enjoy the 'driving school' stuff would avoid commenting, but do they have a desire to? Then, again, you could have readers who are on the edge of voyeurism and choose not to.
There are so many permutations for why you may have more readers than commentators.
All that said, from my own perspective, thought provoking interaction, generated by a post, is the stimulating bit for me, and it is happening less and less.
